Book Report (29-06-2010)

Tittle : The extranordinary cases of Sherlock Holmes The story is about sherlock Holmes with his partner watson solving a mystery. Helen Stoner's step father is the only surviving saxon who survived a castle. When her step father traveled to India he met her mom, a widow. Not long after coming back to England, her mom died. So her step father raised. One day her sister wanted to get married. But on the night before the marriage her sister died. Now stoner wants to get married and has to sleep in her sister's room because her room has been occupied Sherlock Holmes discovers that her step father is the murderer and killed her sister using a trained snake. Sherlock Holmes used a lit candle to chase it off and it killed it's own master. Sherlock Holmes has suceeded again. In my opinion this story book is awfully good. It has everything it needs to be perfect. The sentence structure is great. It is detailed enough to understand the sentence and we can learn some idions from it. The sentence shows the expression of the people. I can also say from the expression than the time is victorian England. Other than that the author is a sensible man. Because everything he writes down is possible to happen unlike what Enid Blyton normally writes down such as fantasy and fairy tales. Besides, it is truly exciting reading this book as Sherlock Holmes is smart with high smartness. Further more, this book is good to read as we can learn many things from it. However the possibility of getting the book famous is pretty hard so I belive Sir Arthuor Conan Doyle have made a good story about the world's nost famous fictional detective. My Appreciation for this book is high because I would say that this book's Author is creative and imaginative. The language appealed in the story was guite olden and classical. It was also very detailed and emotional. The maral of the story is to follow the law and not murder because you will always be caught. I chose this book because I love mystery and adventure. Besides, I gave it a try and it was pretty good. However, I still think that Sir Arthur Conan Doyles writing can improve. How ever the tittle has no relationship with the book and I think they should change the tittle.

MY Birthday party (21-06-2010 )

This was the best birthday ever.We could do anything we want and it was way better than last year's birthday.We had a pool party with water guns and it was totally awesome.2 against 2.Well I enjoyed but spending time with my friend is way more fun than spending time in the pool.I felt so happy seeing my friends who used to be in my school but shifted to another school.Of course I also felt happy that my other friends could make it.However seeing Matthew is a once in a blue moon opportunity.He is an active boy and he loves football.Not only does he love watching football he plays it too.Of course I am a blessed boy to see Henry every Friday and Sunday.Since he left school I rarely saw him and missed him too.Of course a good boy Le Chi,he is a pengawas in school and he doesn't like to be involved with troubles.Last of all, my big buddy Joshua.We have been friends since standard 1.When everybody went back Joshua stayed bit later.We enjoyed our video games and it was time to send him back home.What a jolly day.Thanks mom for decorating.Thanks Dad for letting have this party.Thank You God.

Life in Margaret river ( 17th June. 2010 )

Life in Margaret river was quiet.Too quiet.It was also quite boring.So almost everyday we lazed around and watched T.V. Besides, we couldn't get the internet connection so bringing the laptop was for nothing.Other than that there was a fireplace in the house which made me feel too warm. However I had fun during the outdoor activities such as visiting jewel cave,checking out the lighthouse and horse riding.Other than that, the food there is better than the food in Perth.Plus, in Margaret river I can have peace during my nap.I mean like it was really peaceful,there were rarely any cars at all and it was like a ghost town.The day before visiting Jewel cave was fun.We visited the animal farm and saw many animals.We could feed them too but we had to pay money foer the food in each bucket.When we visited Jewel cave the most interesting part was when we saw a real skeleton of a weasel which fell into the cave a very long time ago-before this cave was discovered. When we rode horses the scenery was awesome.I sure learnt a lot at the lighthouse.I will miss Margaret river

Trip for AUSTRALIA ( 15th June 2010 )

PERTHis a nice place in AUSTRALIA. There are a lot of Asians in PERTH. I know many Australians look down on us Asians. I even heard them say something offensive still,there are some nice Australians who treated us kindly like the house owner in MARMALADE LAUNCH. The weather is also quite fine. Eventhough it's winter in Australia it's not so cold. In the morning, we took out our jacket because it's not really cold when the sun is in the sky. However, in the night it will eventually get colder. In PERTH, the food is mostly fish and chips. So almost everyday we ate fish and chips until I got so sick of fish and chips and can't wait to eat eastern food again. The envirament there is so clean. There was also a lot of farm at the side of the highway. I'm so shocked at the similarity cuz' PERTH and MALAYSIA have the same time. Other than that, their electricity volt is also the same. The difference is also shocking as in PERTH the goverment tax is so high until 50% but in our country is only 10%. Besides, their sound pollution is way lesser than the saund pollution in MALAYSIA. I can't wait to get back to eat eastern food. Thank God I'm a MALAYSSIAN....:)

1st-3rd days in Australia (5th JUNE.2010)

First we met Jonathan Yen's family and traveled on plane. It was the first time traveling with Jonathan Yen. It took so LONG traveling to Perth in Western AUSTRALIA.

It took one day to traveled Perth. On the first day of Australia we went to Garden city and Jonathan's mom , uncle and my mom took up for a lottery. The prize is 20million aussie dollars. During the night we met Alison's family in a viatnamese restaurant. On the second day, we barely did anything. However on the third day, we met uncle Albert's friend and went to a submarine tour in Fremantle. After that we went to eat fish and chips. I am surprised by how the Australian's eat fish and chip's .They put vinegar in their fish and chips. Anyway the scenery is so beautiful until we decided to walk around the park.In the park we tried to catch the catch the seagulls but at last we didn't even catch a single seagull.We also watched some public shows.I had a great day.I am now blogging in Australia.

Australia(Perth)02/06/10

I can't wait to go to Australia.I just can't wait to go Australia with my friend Jonathan Yen.We are going to go to Perth and I am so excited-not me only but Jonathan and I.Besides,I am going to get a mini lenova laptop for my birthday.Other than that,I'm not going to school.Eventhough this is the first time I'm going to Australia I got a few information about it:Did you know that Perth is one of the most isolated metropolitan areas on earth.Perth also receives moderate though highly seasonal rainfall.Other than that Perth is Australia's fourth largest city, having overtaken Adelaide's population in the early 1980s.
